Each month, we will be hosting networking parties providing local businesses and artists with opportunities to meet each other and build meaningful and profitable connections. The gatherings will also provide a great opportunity to get an up-close and personal look at what it is like to own/rent a space at Milepost 5, meet other creatives who are living there, and have a great time.

The first Lifestyle Party is scheduled for November 19th from 6:30-9:30 in unit 402.

The parties will be catered with food and drinks, live music, and local art. Tables will be available for all to share whatever networking materials they may have.

The event is hosted internally by Showcase PDX, a local TV show that features the artists and businesses of Portland, Oregon. We will be recording aspects of the event for the show!Milepost 5 provides affordable and sustainable live/work spaces for entrepreneurs who desire to surround themselves with a creative atmosphere in a supportive and interactive, community setting. The comprehensive, campus facilities provide the rare opportunity for creatives either to rent or own studio/live space.

Milepost 5's mission is to provide a long-term artistic and economic sanctuary to support and sustain working creatives. Milepost 5 is dedicated to building and enhancing the arts community on its campus, in the City of Portland, and throughout the Northwest region by serving as a hub of activity and connectivity.
